The Coolest High-Speed Experience, Go Karting On Ice, Is Coming To Minnesota This Winter
Here in Minnesota, we don’t let winter stop us from doing our favorite activities. That’s why, even when the temperature drops, ice fishing is still a popular activity. That, combined with the many places to ski, sled, and snow tube – not to mention all the winter hiking trails – adds up to a state with a winter that is full of fun. Today, we want to add another fun activity for you to consider: go karting on ice. This activity is coming to Minnesota this winter, and it’s just as fun as it sounds. Check it out:
Epic Karting is a new attraction in Stillwater, Minnesota. They create unique go karting experiences, including a unique - and exhilarating - winter go karting track.
Guests rent helmets and gas-powered go karts to zip around the curves of the icy track. It's a fun experience for both brand-new and experienced go karters!
This activity is open for riders 12 years and older. Riders must be 4'10" or taller to safely use the go karts. No prior driving experience is required! Simply show up and be prepared to follow safety rules as you operate your go kart.
The go kart track is in Stillwater and will be open for the winter of 2021, likely in December. The track needs consecutive days of 20 degrees or colder to be suitable for ice go karting. Visit the Epic Track Racing website to sign up to know when the track is open!
When it finally does open, you can rest assured that this will become one of the most fun winter activities in the state. There's nothing more fun than whipping around on an ice go kart track!
