Minnesota’s Only Farm Brewery Is Unexpectedly Awesome

Here in Minnesota, we have plenty of opportunities to grab an icy cold pint of our favorite brew. Breweries and taprooms continuously open up across the Land of 10,000 Lakes, each offering great local beers that attract droves of customers. One of the newest spots to grab a great beer is Minnesota’s first and only farm brewery. Read on to learn about this brand-new spot to sidle up and have a drink.

Half Pint Brewing Company is a farm brewery located in the small southern Minnesota town of Waseca. Its address is 40099 150th St., Waseca, MN 56093.

Years in the making, the Half Pint taproom is the product of a whole lot of work. It finally opened on November 30, 2018.

The company is - as far as we can tell - Minnesota's first and only farm brewery. Many of the ingredients used for the beer are grown in fields right next to the taproom.

When you visit, you'll enjoy the rustic, farmhouse feel of your surroundings.

As for the beer, there were eight different choices for the taproom's opening night.

If you're a beer enthusiast, you're bound to find something you like, whether you're looking for an IPA or a honey ale.

Half Pint does not serve food, but you're welcome to bring your own. What better way to spend a weekend afternoon?
