Visit This Flower Farm In Michigan For That Beautiful Scenic Experience You Crave

When the first few blooms appear, you know that warm weather is on its way, and beautiful flowers brighten up the landscape all summer long until the snow starts to fall. Make sure you get your fill of the stunning scenery created by thousands of vibrant flowers this season by visiting Three Acre Farm.

If you're craving the sight of brilliant blooms everywhere, you definitely need to visit Three Acre Farm in Byron Center, Michigan.

As early as May, some of the flowers start blooming. You'll see bachelor buttons, chive flower, sweet williams, and, by the end of May, poppies.

The farm stand opens to sell plants in mid-May, and the U-pick field opens up in early or mid-July.

Once the U-pick field is open, you can visit Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. For the longest-lasting flowers, it's best to harvest them before noon. You'll want to arrive at the farm by 11 a.m., since most people enjoy exploring and picking for at least an hour.

This farm specializes in growing the most gorgeous dahlias you've ever seen. You usually have to wait til late July to see them bloom, but the wait is well worth it!

Three Acre Farm has dozens of different kids of flowers. From the tiniest forget-me-nots to big, happy yellow sunflowers, you're certain to find armfuls of beautiful blooms that will charm you completely.

Bring the kids along! They'll love to wander along the rows of flowers. Keep a close eye on them, though...this is a working farm.

If you just want a bucket of pretty flowers, you can get those here, too. No need to pick your own - just choose your favorites and take them home.

The self-serve farm stand is open Tuesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
