This Amazing, Luxury ‘Glampground’ In Michigan Will Blow Your Mind

If you’re like me, you love the outdoors, but there are some aspects of being one with nature that are less appealing. No running water or electricity… Or pillow-top, queen-sized bed. Yes, there are things we just don’t want to live without just because we’re camping. To help resolve this dilemma, we will soon have the Bella Solviva eco-resort, which promises a state-of-the-art “glampground.”

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:

Slated to open in May 2016, the folks behind this luxury campground – on 229 gorgeous acres in the Jordan River Valley in the northwestern section of the lower peninsula – will offer a variety of amenities to guests, including laundry facilities, complementary welcome items (like graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows for S’more-making), a fitness center, catered meals – even a spa.

Plus, did we mention the accommodations? We’re talking teepees, furnished safari tents, Pullman sleep cars, treehouses, as well as space to pitch your good, old-fashioned tent or park your RV. Talk about glamping.

Check out this video, and then watch out for updates on the official grand opening of this spot. We’re sure it’ll book up fast!
