Michigan has its place in drink royalty firmly established, thanks to iconic brands like Faygo and Vernors. But there are so many other options for imbibing in the Mitten. Whether you’re looking for a classic can of pop, a boozy cocktail, some of the best craft beer in the country or a tasty dessert to sip on, Michigan has it all.

This old school cocktail has made a resurgence all over the country in recent years as classic mixed drinks are making a comeback. Surprise, it was invented somewhere around the 1920s at the Detroit Athletic Club.
