Spanning across 108-square-miles, and filled with 65-billion gallons of water, it's easy to see that this is no small reservoir. What's great about that is that many Bay Stater's have this beautiful reservoir right in their backyard.
With 37-miles of shoreline, you can take a simple stroll upon the waters of this reservoir within numerous towns from West Boylston to Clinton.
There are various different hiking trails along Wachusett Reservoir, each with different features. You'll find attractions like this old stone church from 1891 in West Boylston, or the massive Wachusett Dam in Clinton.
No matter which part of Wachusett Reservoir you decide to explore, you're sure to find amazing, jaw-dropping sunsets upon every shoreline.
