According to a new ranking, the Boston Common Frog Pond is the best place to skate in America. USA Today just named this classic Boston landmark as the top skating rink in the country. It also ranked as the No. 2 skating spot in North America, after the Rideau Canal Skateway in Ottawa, Canada.

You can visit the Frog Pond for a spot of skating this season every day of the week. The rink opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 9 p.m. Sunday and Tuesday through Thursday. It is open until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and closes early at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Admission is free for visitors under 58 inches and $6 for those above. Skate rentals are also available.
