The restaurant and lounge is located at the top of Revere Hotel, a boutique accommodation adjacent to Boston Common. After enjoying the hustle and bustle of the city down below, take the elevator to the seventh floor for a relaxing and scenic lunch or dinner in the sky.
All around the rooftop, you’ll find comfortable loungers and deck chairs. Spread out in the sun or pull up a cushion in the shade. Either way, you can’t escape the dizzyingly beautiful panorama of the Boston skyline. You’ll be hard pressed to find another 360-degree view of the city like this without shelling out for a luxury apartment or heading to the Prudential Center’s pricy Top of the Hub.
You’ll be flanked on all sides by massive flower pots that add a touch of whimsical playfulness to the rooftop’s chic vibe. They’re big enough to dwarf you and even provide a scrap or two of shade.
When your stomach starts to growl, this place has you covered. Indulge in a decadent seafood treat like their classic lobster roll and chips, fill up with the Adobe Avocado Chicken wrap, and finish up with an order of the fresh fruit skewers with cool sorbet. This place is well-suited to groups, and ordering a bunch of small plates is a great strategy here.
On hot summer days, the pool is undoubtedly a big draw. You don’t need to be a guest take advantage of the pool, though you will have to pay a fee if you want to take a dip. On the bright side, you’ll be given a towel to use. There’s also an indoor heated pool if you feel like paddling out of the sun’s reach.
As you might expect of a place with a location like this, Rooftop @ Revere really heats up after dark. It’s a great place to go for after-work cocktails or a fun night out with the gang. However, it’s a perfectly lovely place to dine and relax with the whole family during the day, kids included.
If you want to avoid paying a cover charge, head to the Rooftop after 5 p.m. Otherwise, you’ll be asked to pay a cover between $20 and $30 depending on the day (weekends are more expensive).
