The Gardens at Elm Bank is located in Wellesley. It’s a gorgeous botanical reservation that’s packed with perfectly manicured gardens bursting with blooms.
Part of the Massachusetts Horticultural Society, this spot has a little something for everyone. Each garden has a distinct theme ranging from the classical and stately to the off-beat and eccentric.
Looking for a bit of fantasy? Check out the Goddess Garden, which is decorated with full-size sculptures of the Roman goddesses Flora, Ceres, and Pomona.
The Italianate Garden is as refined and elegant as gardens come. Beautiful elms shade the entrance to the garden while roses and fountains make the whole place feel like a fairytale.

Admission to The Gardens is $10 for the general public and free for members of the Massachusetts Horticultural Society. The reservation is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., April 1 to October 31.
