This Game Of Thrones Ice Festival In Maryland Belongs On Your Winter Bucket List

Winter isn’t coming… it’s here! Celebrate the cold season (and your favorite show) by attending this Game of Thrones festival in Maryland. Spend the day marveling at ice creations and meeting some of the iconic characters.

On February 2nd, head to Frederick's Everedy Square & Shab Row area.

This two-block neighborhood is full of eateries, shops, and soon -- ice sculptures!

The festival known as Land of Fire and Ice will take place from 3pm until 9pm.

View the ice sculptures throughout the neighborhood, enjoy show trivia, a scavenger hunt, and...

...meet Jon Snow and Daenerys! You can take photos with them from 3-5pm. Just look at that ice throne!

Don't miss out on a sword fighting demonstration at 3pm. After all, you never know when you'll need these skills to defeat a white walker.
