The Remote Maine Island You’ll Want To Spend More Time Exploring
Did you know that Maine has more coastline than California? It might seem unbelievable, but with all those inlets and rocks, there’s so much more than meets the eye. Every summer we plan as many weekends at the beach as possible, but this year, we’re branching out to include the islands. Accessible by boat and ferry, many of them are actually closer than you think. High on our list is this seemingly remote island that’s actually fairly easy to visit.
During these uncertain times, please keep safety in mind and consider adding destinations to your bucket list to visit at a later date.

Michelle has lived in many places, but counts Maine as one of the best. In addition to the smell of ocean water in the air on rainy days in Portland, she loves puppies, photography, funny people, the Maine Red Claws, traveling, fresh tomatoes, Cambodia and filling out forms.
