Everyone In Maine Should Visit The Epic Willows Flea Market At Least Once

If you're from Maine, you certainly know how important it is to acquire things you might never use and definitely don't need. However, if you need to add to the collection of things you never knew you needed, head to one of the best flea markets in Maine: The Willows, a jam-packed store in Mechanic Falls. With 30,000 square feet of space, it's a top spot to go thrifting in Maine.

The sign outside The Willows includes "BIG" in large block letters, and after one trip inside, you'll understand why.

With three floors of absolute treasures, you'll need to dedicate at least an entire day to exploring the place.

There are so many individual booths with such a wide variety of items that you'll likely leave with something. Even if you're just visiting with a friend.

The Willows has been in existence for quite some time.

After owners Ray and Lucie Bisson purchased the huge grey building, they renovated the entire place. They've updated the building and invited tons of new vendors to be a part of the fun.

Throughout the store, you're encouraged to browse and enjoy the space.

In addition to things that will remind you of childhood, you'll find a wide array of craft items, up-cycled goodies, and beautifully handcrafted items.

While we love the things for sale, our favorite bit might be Johnny.

This cat stands in the market, making a daily survey of his surroundings and greeting customers. Even better, he's constantly changing his attire.

...as well as St. Patty's Day!

And, of course, Valentine's Day.

Beyond the friendly (but very still) cat, you'll find just about anything you can dream of.

Whatever it is you're looking for, you can't do much better than The Willows. In addition to having just about everything and anything, it's just a nice place to spend the day. The vendors are friendly, the owners don smiles, and leaving empty-handed is nearly impossible.
