Louisiana’s Italian roots run deep. The Pelican State saw a huge spike in immigrants from Sicily (and other areas of Southern Italy) in the early 1900s, and many of them settled in New Orleans, specifically around the French Quarter, but many settled in other parts of the state, including northern Louisiana. There’s one special Italian restaurant in Bossier City serving up some of the best Italian cuisine in the state, and I think you’ll fall in love after just one bite.

It’s a family affair over at this Italian restaurant in Bossier City. Brothers Jerry and Ronnie opened the restaurant with their father, Stanley, in 1981. They decided to open the restaurant to honor Jerry and Ronnie’s grandfather, Antonio, who immigrated to the United States from Barga, Italy in 1909.
Notini’s is as casual as you want it to be, just like if you were pulling up to grandma’s place.
