If you’re looking for a fun and exciting way to beat the heat this summer, look no further than this place. Gather up your friends and head over to this unique attraction where you can rent some inflatable tubes and float down the river for an adventure you won’t soon forget.
You’ll find Tiki Tubing over Dedham Springs.
This place has been around for years and is a great way to spend an afternoon outdoors surrounded by beautiful scenery.
When you arrive, you’ll pay for your tubes and then be transported to the river.
They have multiple tubes you can choose from, all for $25 which includes the tube, transportation, parking, and a four-hour float down the Amite River.
You can also rent a cooler or a cooler tube.
So bring some beverages and sandwiches with you for the trip. Just remember that glass and styrofoam aren’t allowed.
They’ll drive you up the river a bit to your drop off zone, and you’re off!
Set your tube in the water, sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride!
There are several sandbanks along the way, so you can stop off as often as you’d like.
They make the perfect stopping points to eat lunch and stretch your legs.
The float lasts about four hours, but you can stretch it out longer if you stop along the way.
The Amite River isn’t too deep, either. Most of the river is about three feet, with some spots being a bit deeper.
And the views? Incredible.
Tiki Tubing is open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. Be sure to book your trip before the summer ends!
