Perkins Road Community Park is one of the many recreational parks that BREC oversees in the Greater Baton Rouge Area. The 52-acre park is a popular extreme sports park with BMX raceways, a rock climbing tower, and even a 333-meter velodrome, one of only 15 in the country! While the thrill of extreme sports is appealing to many, the park also has one of the most peaceful hikes in Louisiana, the Dawson Creek Trail.
