Ice cream is always a good idea. Some of the best ice cream in Louisiana can be found in an old-fashioned ice cream shop in Lafayette, and that’s Borden’s. Not only is Borden’s a local favorite, but it’s actually the last retail Borden’s Ice Cream Shoppe in the country!
The first Borden's opened in Lafayette in 1940. Today, this is the last retail store standing in the country, and we are lucky enough to have it right in our backyard.
