But when you want to really treat yourself to something special, make your way over to Elsie’s Plate & Pie, home to some seriously legendary homemade pies.

A favorite for those working in the downtown area, Elsie’s Plate & Pie is known for its desserts, and we’ll get to those in a minute, but first, let’s crack open the menu and check out some of their savory options.
The menu features a wide range of hearty sandwiches, soups, and salads that would satisfy just about any appetite.
From grilled shrimp sandwiches to savory handheld pies, they do it all.
But when it comes to the dessert side of the menu, Elsie's really shines.
Elsie's boasts more than 10 different types of pies to sink your teeth into and all of them are homemade.
In addition to traditional pies like apple pie, coconut cream pie, and chocolate pie, Elsie's also offers several unique creations you won't find anywhere else.
