Now that the weather has finally caught up to fall temperatures, it’s the perfect time to spend some time outside camping. This delightful campground is just about an hour drive from New Orleans and makes for a perfectly relaxing weekend surrounded by nature.

This family owned and operated campground has been around since 2015, and is truly a peaceful paradise just waiting for you to explore.
Their log cabins are incredible. Charming and rustic, each cabin contains an arrowhead that was found in the area, since the area used to serve as a Native American campground.

The woodwork is truly impressive, and the decor is a perfect mix of rustic and modern.

Their regular cabins sleep up to six people, and their deluxe cabins can sleep up to ten. Plus, the cabins come equipped with everything you’ll need. Just bring the food, and don’t forget the s’mores for campfire fun in the evenings!

You’ll be completely at peace as you wander around the beautiful property.

The 1,786-acre state park has miles of trails to explore, fishing opportunities, and a beautiful rolling landscape featuring cypress tupelo swamps and a hardwood forest.
