During October, many venues around the city transform into a haunted house that’s only for the bravest of souls. If you’re looking for a fun, spooky way to spend an evening, then you have to check out Scout Island Scream Park.
For the month of October (and the first weekend in November) part of City Park transforms into a spooky, thrilling, and haunted attraction for the bravest of souls.
Scout Island Scream Park encompasses 14 acres of haunted attractions and fright zones, just waiting for their next victim.
With three unique haunted attractions, three fright zones, carnival rides, and more, you’ll be immersed in an incredible Halloween-themed land filled with terrifying monsters, zombies, illusions, and incredible special effects.
There’s also a scare-free zone for the little ones, a pumpkin patch, and a haunted hayride.
One of their attractions is a haunted fun house, where you’ll have to face oversized clowns, disorientating mirrors, and creepy dolls as you make your way through the chilling house.
Their Devil’s Swamp tour may give you nightmares. Visitors are given a lantern with which they must use to light their way as they make their way through the dark supernatural swamp with creatures lurking in the shadows.
The entrance to Scout Island Scream Park is near the corner of Marconi Drive and Harrison Avenue. 1034 Harrison Ave., New Orleans, LA 70124.
