New Orleans Is Home To A Po-Boy Festival And It's As Wonderful As Is Sounds

We’re in the middle of festival season, and the weather this weekend is shaping up to be perfect. Come out and celebrate the po-boy festival, happening this Sunday. Good food, great music, lots of local art, and all the po-boys you can eat.

The Oak Street Po-Boy Festival is this Sunday, November 12, and you won’t want to miss it.

Heading into it’s 11th year, this festival features some of the finest restaurants, musicians, and artists from the city coming together to celebrate the famous sandwich—the po-boy.

Come out and celebrate with some all your favorite local restaurants like Crabby Jack’s, Jacques-Imos, Red Fish Grill, Bobby Heberts, and many, many more.

And of course, there’ll be some amazing live music to dance to.

Brass-A-Holics, Kettle Black, SOUL Brass Band, Hill Country Hounds, and many more are just some of the talented musicians that will be taking the stages from 10:30am-7pm.

To purchase a po-boy, you must first purchase a $5 wristband.

Wristbands will be sold at any food vendor tent, as well as the may pop up locations throughout the festival.

So come out and celebrate one of the best food festivals in New Orleans, it'll be a day to remember!
