This Might Just Be The Most Louisiana Museum In The State
Louisiana is a quirky place that’s absolutely filled with personality, and our spirit can be seen in many attractions across the state. However, when it comes to picking the most “Louisiana” museum, there’s a funky little destination down in Assumption Parish that stands out from the rest and definitely belongs on your bucket list. The collection is so unique, and it’s a place we just can’t imagine existing anywhere other than the Bayou State. Let’s take a closer look.

It may be a little bit off the beaten path, but it’s well worth the trip.

He is a folk artist who makes sculptures from the driftwood he finds in the swamps, lakes, and bayous around his home.

He does add some elements to create eyes or a wig for a piece, but the primary focus is certainly the driftwood.

With new pieces constantly being added, you never know what you’re going to find when you swing by.

You can purchase some of Adam’s art, but he also offers pieces of blank driftwood so you can make your own!

You can find Adam’s Cypress Swamp Driftwood Family Museum at 338 S Bay Rd., Pierre Part, LA 70339.
