When it comes to haunted places, Waverly Hills is at the top of the list. When it comes to a haunted tunnel in Kentucky, the death tunnel, aka body chute, will send shivers down your spine. It is located in Louisville at 4400 Paralee Drive, but you can’t just show up uninvited. They have tours available.

It was built at Waverly Hills, extending from the first floor out onto the grounds. It was utilized as a way to transport the dead to be buried or cremated without upsetting other patients. No one knows the exact number of patients that rolled down this tunnel.
A common misconception is that it is a chute.

This tunnel is both famous and infamous. It has been the subject of many a paranormal series, and even the subject of a B (possibly C) movie. The investigators say their equipment goes wild at Waverly, and in the death tunnel itself.
