When people think of vacation destinations across our country, we recognize that the Bluegrass State may not be the first place that comes to mind. We love oceans, popular big cities, and massive amusements parks, but we also happen to think that there is something quite special about the state of Kentucky. And it turns out, many people agree with us! Recently, publications such as Travel + Leisure and Southern Living have recognized that Lexington, Kentucky is one of the best places to visit in our country. This southern city feels like a small town, yet has all of the best features of a big city and we agree that locals and visitors alike should appreciate this “city on the rise.” Now, we often hear the question, “Is Lexington or Louisville better?” Well, we don’t compare. We just show you how much we love our little slice of heaven in the Bluegrass State!
