The farmers markets in Kentucky are a perfect way to seek out fresh vegetables from a quality source. Our beautiful state has some of the most amazing farmers in the U.S., and the produce they provide is nutritious and flavorful. Some of them even have homemade jams, jellies, pies and other kitchen creations made from the very wares they sell to the public. Sometimes you may pay a little more, others, a little less. However, you always get quality food for a reasonable price.

We stop by most farmers markets in Kentucky when we run across them, as you never know what goodies you will find. At the big chains, food can be shipped from overseas, but community farmers only have Kentucky grown goods. What is your favorite farmers market to visit?
