Sitting near gorgeous flowers is a dream we don’t get to have all the time, but we’re happy to find this beautiful garden in Kansas that’s the neverending tulip field of your dreams. It's a wonderful 3-day celebration of plenty of tulips in every color, but you can also visit the tulips at the three gardens after the event.

Ted Ensley gardens at 3650 SE 37th Street plants around 60,000 bulbs. At the Ward-Meade Botanical Garden at 124 NW Filmore Street, you'll find 40,000 more blooms. Finally, 24,500 more tulips will be located at Doran Rock Garden at 601 SW Gage Boulevard.

You can spend the whole day (or multiple days) just exploring the gardens and rejoicing in the simple yet colorful beauty of tulips.

It runs from April 6-23 this year, and the tulips should be in bloom even after the festival is over.

For over 20 years, he shared his visions of beauty in the form of gardening with visitors, and it slowly grew into much more. Now, Tulip Time attracts people from all over the nation who want to photograph the process and celebration of these beautiful flowers framed by the gardens they live in.

Gates open at 6pm for a candlelit walk between the tulips at the Ward-Meade Botanical Garden. Enjoy live music, food vendors, and historic tours by lantern light. You won't find anything like it elsewhere!
