You’ll Want To Plan A Day Trip To Kansas’s Magical Butterfly House
Kansas is full of beauty, and a lot of it comes directly from our wildlife. Although our flowers are always gorgeous, there’s a certain insect that loves them even more than you do. Butterflies! This butterfly house is a must-see this summer, with so many of these beautiful creatures and flowers everywhere you look. Let’s check out this gorgeous live exhibit!
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

This particular enclosed garden is open from July to September, when butterflies and their favorite flowers are in full bloom.

This home is the perfect place for them to grow and live their lives without fear of predators like birds. In addition, it's a wonderful spot to learn about their life cycle and different variations.

Everything from brightly colored flowers to Milkweed is housed in this netted building. Here, you'll truly see the evolution of these creatures from eggs to adults, and even watch their first flights into the world.

You can add specific plants to your garden at home to attract these butterflies, and hopefully create butterfly gardens of your own. Kids and adults alike can enjoy this all-ages live exhibit every year! Don't you think that would be a great summer day trip?
