This amazing zoo lets you interact with an animal one-on-one if you book the right appointment, or you can just visit the zoo and explore as you see fit. Either way, you're supporting a man and his dream of helping save these majestic creatures.

This quintessential Kansas farm is packed full of historical life and all sorts of activities.
3. Strataca —

This underground salt mine in Hutch is one of Kansas' coolest attractions, where you can journey more than 600 feet below the surface to see a part of Kansas's history.

Boot Hill is a busy place to be in the summer, but if you're lucky enough to find a good day, you'll thoroughly enjoy all the reenactments and old western buildings and the excuse to dress a little fancy.
