Inside, the whole place is decorated with farm and ranch tools, rusty or otherwise. It gives the restaurant a charm we don't see most other places, just here in Kansas.

Add on the amazing food, ranging from steaks and fish to chicken fried and mountain oysters. They make a lot, but it's all flavorful and worth every bite.

When they're open, anytime after 5 is when you can get a steak cooked just like you like it, next to homemade sides we can't get enough of.

The Lumberyard is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, 5 to 9 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, and 11 a..m. to 11 p.m. on Saturdays.
