Lansing was designated a National Historic District by the National Register of Historic Places in 2014. The river town is home to many historic buildings like this church - Immaculate Conception Wexford. The beautiful country church named by Irish immigrants in 1851 and is surrounded by a cemetery. The church is one of the oldest active Catholic parishes west of the Mississippi River.
Head back out to the river for a relaxing afternoon of fishing at Lansing's Main Street.
Known as Mississippi’s Pool 9, this perfect fishing spot with 31.3 miles is home to 104 different species of fish. Catch the highly-prized walleye, bluegill, northern pike, bass, sunfish, and crappies.
