Iowa is home to dozens of country restaurants way out in the middle of nowhere that serve up delicious dinners all year long. One spot that's so worth a visit it is out in Anamosa, and it's located in a restored barn! Teddy's Barn and Grill will become your new favorite dinner destination this autumn.
Teddy's Barn and Grill is a homestyle restaurant in Anamosa that serves up delicious food in a charming atmosphere.
This historic barn was built in 1958 by Theodore Freese and family, which is what later led to the restaurant's name!
The main dining area is in the barn's hayloft, and there's comfortable seating throughout the rest of the barn as well.
Food served at Teddy's Barn and Grill is some of the best country cooking you'll find.
Their steaks are as fine of an example of Iowa beef as you'll find anywhere!
The menu also offers other top notch dishes, like grilled shrimp, hot beef sandwiches, and mushroom chicken dishes.
On a nice day, you can enjoy your dinner on the outdoor patio, where you'll have a view of the Iowa countryside that you'll love.
The view from Teddy's Barn and Grill will remind you of the reason you love the Hawkeye State so much.
