The Sky Will Be Filled With Colorful And Creative Hot Air Balloons At Red Rock Lake Balloonfest In Iowa
Mark your calendars! You don’t want to miss the colorful, magical Iowa festival coming to Lake Red Rock in Pella for its tenth year on July 9-11, 2021. It’s the biggest event of the summer in these parts, and here’s why.
Pella, Iowa is known for its festivals. The most famous, Tulip Time, draws crowds from across the nation each year. But that's not the only event on the calendar in Pella this year - save the dates for the area's best summer event, Red Rock Lake Balloonfest, on July 9th, 10th, and 11th.
Each year, dozens of balloons participate in this weekend event. But the Red Rock Lake Balloonfest is going to be extra big and fun this year because it marks a huge milestone for the festival: its 10th anniversary.
Throughout the weekend, the festival will also include a 5K fundraiser and kids run, live music, and food vendors.
With its proximity both to Iowa's largest lake and Iowa's cutest town, festival-goers will be treated to all kinds of amazing experiences, all against the backdrop of a balloon-filled sky.
