That is, I thought so until I discovered The Map Room, a unique themed restaurant in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. From the exterior, this laid-back restaurant looks like a typical neighborhood joint – but inside, it’s like visiting another world. Covered with mementos from around the world and ancient maps, it feels like an adventurer’s club that would be frequented in an old Jules Verne novel before the big adventure kicked off. And those maps aren’t the only thing brought from around the world here – the internationally-inspired menu of burgers and fries will give your favorite meal a flavor boost you never thought possible.
