With the weather cooling and green leaves slowly changing to a rich autumn palette, what better way to celebrate fall than to book a stay at a riverfront hotel, inn or B&B? Grand Anne Bed & Breakfast is definitely grand. It’s a 22-room mansion built in 1897 that is one of the best preserved examples of Queen Anne Revival style architecture. The mansion sits on a 200-foot bluff with amazing views of the Mississippi River. The inn features exquisite architectural details like beautiful stone floors, a curved glass turret, stained glass, intricate woodwork and crystal light fixtures, to name a few.

2. Beiderbecke Inn, Davenport
The Beiderbecke Inn Bed and Breakfast in Davenport is a charming four-bedroom bed and breakfast full of antiques and homey touches, along with modern conveniences. The inn sits on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River and is located in Davenport’s historic Gold Coast area.
