Valparaiso's Central Park Plaza is a popular outdoor park that is getting a lot of attention. It was planned out in 2008 and finally opened to the public in 2011.
Central Park's famous plaza contains the Porter Health Amphitheater and other pavilions and event spaces, including a popular ice skating rink.
The ice skating rink at the park plaza is open from the middle of November until March and hosts events such as Rock N'Skate.
This gorgeous, state of the art ice rink has to be seen in person to truly be believed.
When not in use for ice skating, many public and private events take place at the pavilion located in the park's plaza. With such stunning architecture and design, it's easy to see why people have fallen in love with this space.
The park's amphitheater is another public space where a variety of events take place, such as group yoga and exercise classes.
This space is also used for church services and religious gatherings...
...and of course, it is also an amazing concert space.
Day or night, winter or summer, Central Park Plaza in Valparaiso is the place to be. With a more urban feel than most parks, this space centers on bringing the community together.
