The hit Netflix series “Stranger Things” might take place in a fictional Indiana town, but that doesn’t mean our state doesn’t have its own fair share of unexplained phenomena and overall weirdness. 1. This gravity defying hill in Mooresville

2. This unusal delicacy in Evansville
This beloved restaurant in southern Indiana offers awesome pub food, and one pretty unusual entree - a brain sandwich. That's right, Zombie lovers can celebrate their favorite undead characters by trying out this strange delicacy (don't worried, it's made of pig brains, not human brains!). 3. This weird and whimsical ice tree in Indianapolis
Just like something out of Frozen, this magical ice tree is one of the weirdest, most wonderful surprises in the Hoosier state. This yearly tradition is built by the Veal family every year, with water and dye added when the temperature is low to create this unique, incredible sight. 4. This unusal grave in Aurora
Aurora Schuck loved her Eldorado Cadillac so much, she took it to the grave with her. That's right, this Aurora citizen (ironically with the same name as her resting place) was buried in Riverview Cemetery with her beloved Cadillac, taking up 14 gravesites!
5. This alleged Bigfoot rumor in Jennings County
Stranger Things might have a demogorgon, but Indiana may have its own Bigfoot monster. Also known as the Crosley Creature four boys near the Harsin Pond at the Crosley State Fish and Wildlife Area reported encountering an enormous hairy creature running on all fours. Rumors of this half man, half beast have swarmed around Jennings County for nearly 70 years.
6. This mysterious humming noise in Kokomo
The rumors surrounding this mysterious hum in Kokomo have run rampant for years. Residents have lived with this unexplained humming noise, and even though it was dismissed as noise from industrial fans 15 years ago, many residents have their doubts. 7. These unusual, unexplained fires in Odon
What started out as a normal farmhouse fire, quickly turned into one of the biggest mysteries in our state. in 1941, firefighters rushed to an Odon farmhouse where they found fire seemingly gushing out from the walls - walls without any electrical wiring. While the initial fire was confusing, the subsequent fires that sprang forth (including one that exploded from a mattress) are the real head scratchers. 8. The alleged unidentified flying objects in the sky above Muncie
