Kesling Wetland is located within Merry Lea, an environmental learning center located at Goshen College. Merry Lea hosts numerous habitats among its 1,189 acres of land, though none may be a more jaw dropping place than Kesling Wetland.
This wetland plays a vital part in Goshen College’s envrionmental curriculum, including programs like environmental education, sustainability, agroecology, and land and research. The Kesling Wetland helps college students and visitors alike understand the importance of preserving and studying the natural world around us.
Like most places in Indiana, some of the best times of day to visit this unique wetland are during either sunrise or sunset. You’ll get to witness a stunning array of colors along the skyline and waterscape.
