Bombers BBQ in Munster, Indiana was founded in 2013 by owners Anthony Petrocelli and Christopher Cole. The BBQ aficionados wanted to bring quality freshly smoked BBQ to Indiana. They prepare all of their meat the same day, always using fresh, never frozen products.

Bombers BBQ is famous for a lot of entrees, like their brisket, pulled pork, and rib tips. Locals swear Bombers has the best southern BBQ in all of Indiana, which is a pretty hefty claim. They also have inventive creations like bacon jalapeno bombs and Mississippi won tons. But one of the best things you’ll ever eat from this local gem is their highly rated chicken wings.
The wings at Bombers are smoked and fried and served with your choice of sauce. This includes their signature Bombers Sauce, Sweet Sauce, Vinegar Sauce, Mustard Sauce, St. Louis Sauce, and Atomic Sauce. There’s a flavor for every taste and fancy and the wings themselves are outstanding. But if you’re really up for a challenge, you’ll want to try the one sauce left off of this list…their Nuclear Sauce.
Bombers Nuclear Sauce won’t be found with all of the other sauces. This powerful hot sauce is made with Ghost Pepper extract, a pepper that should sound familiar to spicy food lovers. If you’ve never heard of Ghost Pepper, it’s heat can actually seriously inflame your skin or burn your eyes.
