Cataract Falls In Indiana Will Soon Be Surrounded By Beautiful Fall Colors
There’s nothing quite like fall in the Midwest, and here in Indiana, there are plenty of ways to embrace the season. If you’re looking for a picturesque way to view the beautiful fall colors, head to Lieber State Recreation Area in Owen County and lay your eyes upon the majestic Cataract Falls. Not only is this our largest waterfall by volume in the whole state, but it’s also one of the most incredible waterfalls to visit in the fall. While autumn in Indiana might only last a few moments, you’ll want to make sure to take a visit to Cataract Falls before all of the beautiful fall leaves are gone.
Autumn is here in Indiana, and pretty soon Cataract Falls will be surrounded by the most breathtaking fall colors.
This picturesque waterfall is located in the Lieber State Recreation Area in Owen County.
While Cataract Falls might not be the tallest in our state, it is the largest by volume. In fact, it's broken up into the upper and lower falls, making for twice the magical experience.
Peak fall colors tend to hit Indiana in mid to late October, so plan your visit soon!
