Spend The Night In An Authentic Grain Bin In The Middle Of Indiana’s Amish Country
If you’re anything like we are (and we suspect you definitely are!), you really enjoy getting out to explore Indiana and all the awesome wonders that come with it. But, wouldn’t you believe it, we don’t always feel like staying at a hotel. We crave adventure, and part of that adventure is finding unique and intriguing stays. Well, we found one that’s especially wonderful, particularly for lovers of peace and quiet.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

It features a bedroom upstairs with two twin beds, bathed in natural light. Bring the kids, or don't. We might prefer the latter for this one!

We strongly suggest a stay of longer than just one night; it's comfortable enough to warrant an entire weekend of coziness. Rates are super-affordable; they start at just $74 per night.

The grain bin also has a mini-kitchenette with a microwave, a toaster oven, coffee pot, mini-fridge, and much more. Instead of a stove, there's an electric cooking top.

As nice as the interior of this repurposed grain bin is, it's the landscape that surrounds it that we really fell in love with.

Enjoy private access to Eagle Lake, which sits on the property. There are also numerous hiking trails nearby.

It seems like no matter what direction you begin wandering in, you won't come across anyone else for miles - and that's exactly how we would have wanted it.

We would suggest sleeping in, but in that case, you lose a few hours that you could have spent enjoying the fire pit outside, the lake, or the exquisite beauty of Indiana.
