If you're tired of parks and resorts that seem to only cater to skiers, then you need to visit this amazing winter attraction. Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park in Algonquin answers the call for a more board-friendly atmosphere.
Beginning after Thanksgiving and extending through the winter (check the calendar on their site for exact dates), snow is pumped into this park and arranged in sick slopes. It's always a winter wonderland here, even when there's no snow in your neighborhood.
Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park is a fantastic place to host birthday parties.
Hours of operation are Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets cost between $30 and $50 depending on the day of the week, and guests may rent snowboards, boots, and helmets.
Ladies Night is every Wednesday, meaning females get a free lift ticket.
