Gallagher's Restaurant in southern Illinois is an American bar and grill situated in a restored building from the 1870s. It opened as a restaurant in 2005 and is known for its unique atmosphere, a plethora of beers, and its all-you-can-eat fried chicken Sundays.
Historic furnishings and vintage cham greet you as soon as you walk inside. There are six unique dining areas and two restored bars that are more than a century old. Refurbished railings from the 1908 McKinley Bridge as well as other pieces of buildings from the World's Fair era are used in the structure and decor.
Known for the best fried chicken dinners in the St. Louis area, this restaurant's all-you-can-eat experience is unforgettable. Each Sunday between 11:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. the only thing you'll find on the menu is an endless supply of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, biscuits, gravy, corn custard, green beans with ham, and dessert.
The cost for this incredible feast is just $12.95 for adults, $6.95 for children, and free for infants.
Hours on regular days are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The main menu includes the famous fried chicken dinners as well as a myriad of other dishes.
Seafood, steak, burgers, wraps, hot sandwiches, soups, salads, and appetizers make for a full and hearty meal. Bacon-wrapped shrimp, tuna and avocado sliders, a Parmesan pork burger, and jalapeño honey mustard chicken are just a few things you'll want to try.
