Are there fairytale places to visit in Illinois?
Illinois has its share of enchanting locales that can make anyone feel like royalty. Aurora Sunken Gardens located at the Phillips Park Zoo is reminiscent of an English garden you may find outside of a castle. Pretend you’re part of a royal family as you descend down the stairs into this sunken garden with its three-tiered fountain, gorgeous shrubbery, and elegant flowers. Kaskaskia Dragon is a fire-breathing roadside attraction that looks like it’s straight out of Game of Thrones! It’s fascinating to watch it in action which you can do by watching the video linked in this article.
What are some unique things to do in Illinois?
Only in Illinois can you find uniquely strange attractions to visit like the town of Olney that’s known for its albino squirrels. People from all over to get a glimpse of these critters around town and every year an annual white squirrel count is held and it’s a big deal! Casey is another eccentric town with plenty of things to see, especially objects that have been certified by the Guinness Book of World Records. If you are looking for unique things to do, visit these two towns.
