Walk around and admire this gorgeous garden and, if time allows, even participate in one of the many events or classes held throughout the year. This is a great way to stay in the city and still escape into nature.

Boise River Greenbelt, Boise, ID, USA
The Boise River Greenbelt is a 25-mile paved trail along the Boise River. It is considered one of the best river walks in the country as it takes you through gorgeous landscapes, to numerous parks, and over more than a dozen bridges. Our favorite time to walk the greenbelt is in Autumn when the fall foliage reaches its peak.

The Confluence Overlook is located on Highway 95, just north of Lewiston and on your way to Moscow. This overlook is breathtaking year round but particularly on a clear day when you can see Hells Canyon, the Bitterroot and Wallowa Mountains, and the Snake and Clearwater Rivers.

This area turns into the ultimate playground with frisbee golf, ziplining, and mountain biking. During huckleberry season, you can even take a tour up the mountain to find some of the best huckleberry-picking spots in northern Idaho.
