The Ultimate Pizza Journey Through Idaho Makes For One Delicious Adventure
If there are two things we love, they are a good road trip and pizza. So why not combine the two? Pizza is one of those foods that almost everyone loves. There is such a variety of ingredients you can use and so many different ways to make it that it’s easy to find something that everyone will enjoy. We created this road trip to several pizza places throughout southern Idaho. Your journey begins just outside of Heise Hot Springs and travels all the way up to Ketchum. It’s a fun drive and tasty food — the perfect combo!
On this road trip, you will travel approximately 270 miles. Plan for approximately five hours of drive time. We know there are many more delicious pizza joints that we couldn't cram into one road trip, so go ahead and use this customizable map to help you add in all of your favorite restaurants along the way.
Located near Heise Hot Springs is the first stop on our road trip — Heise Pizza Parlor. This small pizza place offers a variety of specialty pizzas that range from a simple pepperoni pizza to The Sink, where your pizza consists of basically everything but the kitchen sink!

While there are a handful of pizza places in Idaho Falls, we suggest stopping by Papa Kelsey’s. The dough is made fresh each day and every pizza is packed with toppings. We STRONGLY suggest purchasing an order of spicy fries to take with you on your drive. They are incredible!

Located in downtown Idaho Falls is the Pie Hole. Here, you can order pizza by the slice, allowing you to try a little bit of everything at this classic pizza place. Of course, because we are in Idaho, you'll want to try a slice of the potato and bacon pizza. This unique creation consists of roasted potatoes, mozzarella cheese, alfredo sauce, and bacon.

The Dam Pizza Place is a small-town pizza place in Idaho that you do not want to miss. The specialty pizzas at this restaurant all have unique names, and you can always create your own by choosing from a wide selection of toppings and sauces.
