Cedar Street Bridge Public Market is a charming mall-type marketplace in Sandpoint, Idaho. The market is home to a variety of shops, spanning the bridge that connects Sandpoint to the Northern Pacific Railroad Depot.
The marketplace is the product of local businessman Scott Glickenhaus's desire to save this historic bridge from demolition. Inspired by Italy's "Ponte Vecchio" covered bridge market, he leased the condemned bridge and turned it into the public market it is today.
Today you'll find all sorts of unique places to dine and shop within the market. The Cedar St. Bistro is a popular place to grab some fresh lunch before or after perusing the nearby shops.
The bistro specializes in soups, sandwiches, salads, wraps, and more. Everything is made fresh daily and tastes absolutely delicious.
They also make stone-fired pizza! Whatever you're craving, the market is sure to have it. They even offer gluten-free pizza crust.
