Tucked along the Snake River is the only archeological park in Idaho, and it’s definitely worth a quick (or not-so-quick) stop. Located in Melba, Celebration Park is a small but incredibly scenic area that is also steeped in native history. It’s famously home to petroglyphs that are several thousand years old, but the scenic beauty and quiet atmosphere make it the type of place you’ll want to return to again and again. If you have yet to see what Celebration Park is all about, you’ll want to be sure to take a detour the next time you’re in the area!
