Established in 1977, Big Island Candies not only offers handmade treats you’ll only find in Hawaii but tours of their Hilo factory as well.

Made using 100 percent Hawaiian-grown macadamia nuts Kona and Ka'u coffee, island eggs, real butter, and high-grade chocolate, these sweet treats are heavenly, to say the least.

From dark chocolate Kona coffee beans and dipped macadamia nuts to chocolate chili cookies, brownies, Manju, and macadamia nut biscotti, there’s a product at Big Island Candies to satisfy your sweet tooth. You don’t even need to like chocolate: lemon brownies, pineapple Manju, and li hing mui cookies are just a few of the non-chocolate offerings you’ll find here.

Factory tours are offered Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
