This summer wouldn't be right if you didn't get out on the lake at least once-- right?! The season for fishing is here and whether your thing is deep sea fishing or fishing in a little pond, you can find it here in Georgia! Here are 10 amazing places that are just perfect for fishing.

1) Conasauga River

This beautiful river runs through Tennessee and North Georgia. It's 90 miles long and is home to 25 species of fish. Along with being a great fishing spot, it's also a popular snorkeling destination!

2) Ocean Fishing at St. Simons Island, GA

A little fishing in a big fishing hole! Catch some quality father-son time learning the ins-and-outs of saltwater/deep sea fishing. You're sure to have a great time!

3) Blue Ridge Fishing

Not only is Blue Ridge famous for their beautiful scenery, they also have some great fishing locations as well. Catch some fish on-the-fly with some great fly fishing, trout fishing or any other type of fishing you can think of! You and your friends are sure to have a great adventure up the river!

4) R.B. Baker Lake - Effingham County Recreation and Parks

5) Fishing in the Toccoa River

The large Toccoa River is also a great place for fly fishing enthusiasts! This lake is for the pros, as the water level can rise pretty quickly in some places. Get your hands on some trout in this long river!

6) Deep Sea Fishing on Tybee Island

Another beautiful spot to do some deep sea fishing!

7) Lake in Lawrenceville, GA

This lake is in Village Gate, which appears to be a housing community. Whatever the case, I hope they allow residents to fish, as this is just as lovely a fishing hole as they come!

8) Lake in Perry, GA

This lake is in Rozar Park in Perry, GA. If you are a beginner to fishing, then this small pond is the perfect spot for beginners!

9) Boathouse on Lake Burton in Habersham, GA

Located in the beautiful Rabun County, Lake Burton is a 2800 acre reservoir. They also have world class Bass fishing -- if you're interested in that sort of thing!

10) Shrimp Boats at the Jetty

This exposed beach/Jetty break is near the south end of Tybee Island.It's best to get out there and fish when the Jetty swells. Here's a shot of shrimping boats out by the jetty.
