The Farmers Almanac Predicts Winter 2020 In Georgia Will Have Warm Temps And Above Average Rain
The predictions are in, Georgians! Thanks to the Farmer’s Almanac 2020 release, we are able to get a better idea of what the upcoming winter in Georgia will be like. While you might not necessarily need to break out the ice scrapers and the snow blowers just yet, an umbrella might be a better option to keep by your front door.

For those wondering just how these predictions are made—nobody is sitting around a crystal ball, there is an actual formula used based on complex mathematical and astronomical formulas.

While the formula remains much of a secret, we do know that it was developed in the late 1700s in order for farmers to understand the weather predictions to aid in their crop growing for the year.

According to the Farmer’s Almanac, winter in Georgia is expected to be very mild in terms of temperature, but with above-average rainfall.

So while Georgia might not be inundated with snowfall this year, the bad news is that it still is going to be wetter than normal.

So, if you’re wondering whether or not to spend the winter in Georgia or curious as to what you would need to survive it, then the Farmer’s Almanac is seemingly suggesting a winter jacket and a good set of rain boots.
