But little did we know, Georgia has it’s very own canal town—a place where the industrial side of life flourished and commerce was in peak position. This historic town can attribute much of it’s growth to the construction of this canal, and visitors can still enjoy the waterway to this day.

The canal essentially rescued the city from a business depression and ended up fueling the economy and helping each of the businesses in the area grow.
